Kaia's first haircut!

Well today we got Kaia's hair cut (trimmed) for the first time. It has been getting into her eyes a lot lately and I have heard from a few people that it will grow thicker if we get it trimmed. The truth, after discussing it with the hairdresser is that there are hairs of long length and short length on her head. When you cut the long ones the short ones catch up sooner and your split ends don't get really big and fuzzy. My mom and Jim wanted to document it on video so they came with us. We went to The Hair Chair in Bellevue which I have to say is expensive but really good. The hairdresser was awesome and they gave us her clippings in a little ziplock bag with a little card so we can include it in our scrapbook or baby book. Kaia was really upset but she hates being messed with so that was going to be expected no matter when we did it. All in all it only lasted 5 minutes or so. Her hair looks really healthy and cute. I will include a picture when I get a chance...

Doesn't he have a great smile? :)

You Tube

Well I joined You Tube after seeing how cool it was seeing Finn's videos on there :) I have been slowly uploading videos from Kaia's life. It is so much easier than when I would put them on the website and now I can embed them into the website instead which is cooler. I will eventually get all that done. Until then you can access them by clicking my link. http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=Buicam

Kaia's new glasses

Kaia got her new glasses yesterday and wore them all day today without complaint! I am so proud of her. After talking to the eye guy yesterday when I picked them up he said it is definately going to be a struggle and could take a month of battles. He even mentioned that with some kids you have to resort to arm braces that don't allow them to bend their arms. I am so glad we don't have to do that. Her neck has even improved noticeably just from her wearing them today. This is not a long term "fix" but will buy us some time until we can determine what is best for her.
